1/48 Revell Lockheed Ventura

Normally I would wait closer to when I was going to build this model, but I just couldn't wait! I bought this yesterday after looking at the kit for the last 4 or 5 months, no one was buying it so I bit the bullet and spent the $32! I did a lot of reading into the kit and it seems quite good. It's the first new kit Revell has released since the late 90's it came out in 2012. This isn't a real common aircraft at least not here in Canada, It did serve with the RCAF as the kit comes with RCAF decals, but it doesn't get the recognition as other aircraft of WWII. The Ventura replaced the Hudson in RCAF service and was used as a coastal patrol aircraft. I thought it would be nice to add something a little different to my collection.
