A Young King

This is Sterk, I have uploaded pictures of him when he was younger. He is really starting to grow up and mature into a very handsome lion. His mane has finally started to grow in also! Sterk lives at Oaklawn Farm Zoo, Nova Scotia the zoo has been building a new pride over the last year or so and now has three new lions, Sterk, Nyah and Obi. The hope is that once older Nyah will choose her mate and some cubs will be born to help grow the pride even more. Oaklawn Farm Zoo was once home to a pride of 9 lions 4 males and 5 females, only one is still alive and that is Esther who is soon turning 20 years old.
