So I decided to take advantage of the studio at school and do something for myself before I graduate. Where I'm from there are a lot of apple orchards (The Annapolis Valley) I was thinking I would do something related to that.

Its been about a year since I've tackled a still life. I'm think I'll have to do them more often!

You definitely have to do that more often, really a nice shot. I like the composition, apples in the background add to the picture. And the pie looks very delicious.

Thanks for your comment. I wish I could do this more often. This was taken in college when I had access to a studio. Now I don't so that makes it hard.

Yeah, I can understand. I love taking pictures of food, but can't do that very often at home since I don't have the appropriate setting, light, etc.
