This is the Revell 1/48 Scale MiG-21PF I just finished building the other day. It's by far not my best work, but I am overall quite happy with how it turned out.

Nah man, you did good here. I had this exact same crummy kit. I wound up throwing it in the trash, frustratingly bad fit. I'd say you did the best with what you had. Bravo sir.
